Community Outreach

FWG Solutions is a proud community servant that strives to cultivate meaningful relationships in its local community. Through a partnership with organizations such as the H.O.P.E. Project, a DC-based nonprofit that offers technical training for under-served residents, FWG has successfully hired several H.O.P.E. Project graduates who have kicked off their technical careers with the company. FWG encourages all of its workforce to give back to the communities in which they reside.

FWG’s CEO, Mr. Nshokano Katabana, has shared his expertise with program participants during visits to H.O.P.E. classes and has even served as a mentor to H.O.P.E. Project alumnus. At its 2013 holiday party, FWG collected hundreds of can goods and other non-perishables and donated these items to the local shelters in DC. In 2015, FWG Solutions instituted its “Paid Community Service Day Off” policy – a company-wide policy that allows corporate personnel to participate in community service projects of their choosing at the expense of the company. This year, FWG Solutions employees supported service projects with the Southeast Tennis & Learning Center and the Congressional Black Caucus.
